If I mentioned those characters as positives then it would make sense to find my opinion contradictory and silly but it doesn't because I actually think that those shouldn't qualify either and they still have (arguably) more going on for them than Waluigi.ģ0 Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games To Look Forward To In 2022 It's pretty funny because you chose all the characters that I would remove from the roster along with Waluigi, you only missed Piranha plant. Waluigi has nothing at all going for him because he isn't a representative of any game/app/device and he lacks the personality and representation that other secondary characters of other franchises have. As for personality, it's a trait to consider, but not a definitive one and R.O.B again, isn't a character that I like being there just as with the Wii Fit trainer, but at least the face of something so it's the Wii Fit Trainer situation all over again. I honestly don't care if you find my reasons dumb but for the sake of a civilized discussion let's not make it personal by insulting other opinions. you do realize that I'm not saying that I like her right? (I don't) Still, that avatar is the representative of it's "app" or whatever thing you wanna call it, which is something Waluigi doesn't even accomplish. Mon 4th Oct It doesn't matter to you, but it does matter to me and I bet that it also matters to other people.But admittedly that's a lot for continued DLC, so it's more likely to reach that amount for the next installment, 'Smash Supreme' or something. Sakurai has to lead it as he wants and needs a break, understandably. I really hope Nintendo keeps adding Smash characters and can get it up to 100 fighters somehow. but if I haaad to vote for the last spot I guess I'd pick Crash or Waluigi.

I feel like people who ask for Waluigi are just trolling the game- he has no game series no soundtrack-it would end up as such a mediocre addition and the same goes for Crash-is he gonna spin and toss apples? Come on! Compared to characters that can have so many options and weaponry-Like Doomguy, Leon or Dante, Waluigi and Crash don’t compare. Dante would be a nice surprise even if he is there as a Mii- that could be a nice diversion. Second would be Doomguy-it can’t get more badass than that, and lastly Astral Chain- such a phenomenal game with the best Hack and Slash gameplay out there- that would be one visually striking and unique character too-but Sakurai mentioned it would be too hard to have two at the same time since they left the idea with Pyra from Xenoblade.
Leon Kennedy would be most epic since the best game of the series -RE4 originated on Gamecube! So he would be an amazing and deserving addition.
